How We Connect

Community Dialogue

If you are an individual, organization, or community that would like to get involved with IAKE we’d love to hear from you!

IAKE strives to be a community responsive organization that involves as many Indigenous artistic voices as possible and makes space for the abundance of experiences, capacities, abilities, mediums, forms, and needs of Indigenous artists in so-called Canada. That is why your voice is integral to the many threads that will make up IAKE, and the potential for self-determined Indigenous models of artistic knowledge exchange.

IAKE is moving forward with our pilot project into a stage of community offerings – in the form of mentorships, on-the-land exchanges, and story outreach. We are eager to hear your thoughts about IAKE’s current/upcoming programming goals and your dreams for IAKE’s future.
